"I am proud to serve the Dallas-Fort Worth Metroplex as a cornea specialist, helping people regain sight, comfort, and quality of life, through compassionate and technical expertise. Since I was a child, I have always wanted to be a doctor. Although my father is a retina specialist, I actually wanted to forge my own path, trying not to follow in my father’s footsteps. His dedication and love for his field and his patients helped guide me toward ophthalmology. I fell in love with the intricacy of the surgical skills and the ability to help people see, a cherished sense that is commonly taken-for-granted.
I am committed to providing the best care I can. I believe in educating my patients, as understanding is the first step in guiding them to recovery and vision improvement.
It is a truly rewarding profession. I hope to touch and improve many more eyes and lives through my hard work and dedication."
I am so proud and excited for our team and our patients to have the privilege of working with our new physician associate, Dr. Patricia Ple-plakon!
